This website does not sell or buy wedding dresses, it is a visual form of advertising. All sales are arranged in private between the seller and the buyer.

All wedding dresses on this website are shown in good faith as being for private sale by private individuals. All dresses are also shown in good faith as being still for sale.

All wedding photos sent through the post are done so at the sellers risk, and should be sent in suitable packaging. Photos will be returned in similar or better packaging. We can accept no responsibility for any damage incurred during the incoming or outgoing postal journey.

All wedding photos remain the property of their originator, and should not be reproduced without permission.

All efforts are taken by us to maintain virus-free hardware and software. We cannot however accept any responsibility for any viruses (or similar) transmitted by ourselves electronically to customers' computers.

Some ISPs are becoming increasingly aggressive in their definition of junk or spam email (particularly AOL), thus you may need to change some of your settings and/or keywords so as to allow wedding dress-related email to be delivered as genuine rather than blocked as spam.

Sellers email addresses will not be published online, as all enquiries are routed through our servers. Care should be taken when responding to potential buyers, and it is good safe practice to use web-based email addresses (such as Hotmail) any time you expose yourself the public domain.

Emails from people in foreign countries should usually be treated as suspect, particularly if they are offering cheques or money transfers much higher than the value of the dress being advertised. Previous advertisers have ignored these financial scams, or blocked the sender, or reported them to the local police.

Any contact information given on a dress Advertising Form is for our own internal use only. It will only be used if we need to contact you about your advert, or return photos by snail mail.

All personal customer data is held in a secure format and location, in accordance with the guidelines laid out by the UK Data Protection Act 1998, under which this site is registered (registration number PZ7986180).

Advertiser data is for our sole use, and is not shared with any third parties.

Potential buyer contact data will be treated similarly UNLESS we suspect you are trying to perpetrate a financial scam, in which case your details will be passed on to the relevant law-enforcement agencies.

Credit/debit card details entered over the Paypal or WorldPay secure servers are not passed on to ourselves, we are merely informed when payment has been made. All card users should note the secure server address warning on the relevant payment pages as they proceed through the payment processes.

Any cookies created by our site are generated by our hosting company, and used merely to log visitor numbers and hits.

Refunds of advertising fees, for whatever reason, can only be made in the first seven days after payment.
